Houston Zoo

So for Labor day weekend David and I decided to go with some friends to the Houston Zoo. It wasnt all that I remembered whrn I was little but we still had fun taking Chase around to see all of the neat Animals. He favorite was the "Dinosaur" (aka Komodo Dragon). The reptiles and the shark exhibit werent open. Not sure why but Chase would have loved to see those.

Baby Shower Time!!!

A couple of weekends ago we had my sister's baby shower in Dallas. I was so nervous that everything would be perfect and.... IT WAS!!! We had a great turn out! So many people from everyside of the family came! Everyone had fun and Jennie got lots and lots of great things!! I organized all of the events, invitations and party favors. My Aunt were in charge of the cake and food! It was yummy! Here are a few pictures of what I made and the little details.

Breathing Easy!

I am so glad that this summer is over. I can finally breathe easy with my little man home. It is definitly hard on all of us, especially when he doesnt understand what is happening when we leave him for weeks at a time! So now we can get back in the normal routine of our family. I am so happy to have my baby home.

Chase's 3rd birthday at the lake!!

For Chase's birthday this year I didnt want the BIG party. So we went to my parent's lake house on Lake Livingston. We had a blast. Chase did everything in the sun that you can possibly think of. He had a dinosaur themed party. I loved his cake! Here are a few pictures from the party!

Chase did great!! He only has 19 out of 20 teeth, which I found out runs in the family! He was such a trooper!

Memorial Day Weekend @ Sam Rayburn

David and I have always wanted to go camping and fishing with Chase. So for Memorial day weekend we decided to pack it all up and do it! We had a great time! A few of his brothers and Jeanne joined us for the weekend! David said I was bringing the City to the Country and I didnt care one bit! I wasnt going to go without anything that might need! Like Tiki Torches! Dont get me started on the TIKI Torches! Let's just say I was right! =) Here are a few pictures from the fun weekend!

Mother's Day!

So I havent been keeping this upvery well now have I!

Let's start with Mother's day. It sure was a fun weekend in the SUN. Saturday we went and ate at a BBQ place that we have been wanting to go to since we moved to Pearland, and to a nearby park.



We headed to Galveston Island Sunday and had sooo much fun flying kites and playing in the sand. Chase was over his fear of the waves in no time! He hung out with Daddy the whole time while Mommy took pictures of the day! I got awesome cards and pretty flowers to go with it! It was a good day to be a mom!

Chase's First Batting Practice!

On Chase's second birthday he got a lot of baseball items from his Gamma and Papa G. The other day was the first day we pulled them out. Eventhough his cordination is still a little off, HE HAD A BLAST!! Here are a few pictures of my Future AllStar!!







Soon he got tired of practicing, and had more fun riding his bike with this baseball helmet.

My 25th!

Happy Birthday to ME!!! On April 23rd I turned 25 and can't believe it! I was so excited th David sent me flowers to work! They were beautiful pink tulips! That night we went out for dinner at Perry's Steakhouse!! We had no idea how nice it was until we walked in. It was our first time there and were completly blown away. It definitely was an experience to remember with Chase. They didnt have a kids menu, so it was weird ordering MAC and Cheese for a 2 year old! But he did he the heck out of the bacon wrapped scallops, who would have thought. I had a great time with my boys and had a very fully belly! David and I will be going back, but without Chase! We prayed that nothing was broken before we left.

I am going to have a Nephew!!

On April 14th, my sister and her husband found out that they are having a beautiful Baby Boy! I am sooo excited!! Now for the shower planning to go into full effect!!
