Bachelorette Party!
This past weekend was Kristin's Bachelorette party in Austin, TX. Tessa did such a great job planning everything. We stayed at the Hilton on 4th Street with easy easy access to 6th Street. Her lingerie party was in a amazing little lingerie boutique right around the corner from the hotel. We wore red, and I do have to say that we were the best dressed party on 6th street that night. Kristin went all out the Friday night so believe it or not she was pretty chill Saturday night.

Shower Time!
One of my best friends is getting married soon and this past Saturday was her first shower. Along with Tessa and Kristin's mom, Carol, we put on a pretty good shower for her. It was a pool party/shower full of fun and games. We even had a pinata!! Her mom got Julie's Cakes to make a replica of her wedding cake. It was gorgeous and delicious! She got lots of great things for her and her future hubby to start their lives together as a married couple. We had so much fun!

Changes!!
Over the past several months have been very eventful for the Johnson family. We have welcomed several new additions to our family. David's brother and his fiance had their little boy, Parker. He is such a little cutie! I am so happy for them! Also Ruth, David's youngest sister just told us that they are expecting a little one in March! So my in-law family is about to start exploding. Now if we can only get a few more of them settled down.
And in case you didnt know we had our little girl on July 9th!!! She is perfect!! The delivery was an event in its self. The timeline of it all still till this day is unreal. But I will give myself a great big pat on the back that I did not have a epidural!! YAY ME!! But I will give credit to the Ambien and Dimerall for helping me through the delivery along with my husband and all of the nurses! We started enducing labor at 9pm Thursday night, and by 1:50 Friday morning she was here!!! At 6pounds 12ounces and 19 3/4 inches she was healthy and absolutly perfect. My mom had Chase during our entire stay at the hospital. She brought him up to the hospital when she was born. When they left he talked about her all they way home. He kept saying how pretty she was! It made me cry when my mom told me about their drive home from the hospital. Chase is a very proud brother and is adjusting very well so far with her here! I couldnt have asked for a better son.

Finally Feel Normal!!
So for the last 3-4 months I have looked like I have a disease on my arms and legs. Very distrubing I know!! This rash that has taken over parts of my body were very itchy and drove me crazy. My doctor said that it is because I am prego and that my hormones are out of whack. Well after I went to my last doctor visit he made me get an appointment with a dermotologist that day to get something for it. He said that he could give me a steroid but wants to use that as a last resort (yes because im pregnant).
So off to the doctor I went with high high hopes that she would cure it right away. Well... She didnt!!! She told me the exact same thing that my doctor said but she use a fancy term instead (eczema). I was like are you serious. You can tell that by looking at my arm for 2 seconds. So needless to say I was really frustrated. She perscribed me a steroid cream instead so that it wouldnt harm the baby. I was about to tear it up and lose it right there in the room. But I didnt I waited until I left the office. So when I got to the car I cried and cried becuase I didnt think that the pain and itchiness would go away until I had my baby. Well I called my doctor and he also perscribed me a anti-histamine along with the cream... And to my surprise after one night it was the perfect combination.
I havent scratched my arm or legs in a whole week!!!! You do not know what a relief it has been. The stress and pain are all gone!!! I am one happy pregnant lady once again!!

Jan to March 2010!!
A lot has happened in only the few months of this year. We started the stressful process of finding our first home in January! Well we found it and closed at the end of February. I am so in love with it. Now just trying to unpack all of the boxes and not swell up is the new challenge.
Our baby girl is growing and already giving mommy a hard time. I have to take baths just about every other day to help my skin, swelling and to relax my muscles. Oh the joys of Pregnancy, but it is totally worth it! She still doesn't have a name yet but we are working on it. I will post my 25 week belly after this post. Yes I am a little behind, but you can see how big she is getting. It is really exciting!
Chase is getting so big and so dependent. He doesn't like me to buckle him up anymore, and doesn't like me helping him do other things here and there. He wants to do it. But every now and then I have to help him. He loves our new home but sleeping upstairs by himself is a new challenge for all of us. We are getting there though, just will take time and lots of persuasion of how cool it is to sleep upstairs. He is already protective of his baby sister. He doesn't like it when I push on her to move or pat my tummy like drums. He says it will hurt her and to keep my hands in my pockets!! I love this boy!! He is going to be a great big brother. He told me the other day that we need to go get baby sister and bring her back to the "big house" (our new home). And I am pretty sure that he thinks that we go to the store to go pick her up. He is such a Hoot!

End of 09!! Theme: Baby Boomimg
YES I have been MIA for no good reason so here is a glimpse of the last few months of 2009.
So I ended with our trip to the Zoo in September. On September 27th, David and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary at Hotel InterContinental in Dallas. We had a great time watching College football at the hotel bar. Aren't I a good wife for letting my husband watch college football on our anniversary. We only left the bar to go to dinner in downtown Dallas. It wasn't the Dominican, but it was still perfect!
October was a big month for us! We found out that we were expecting baby #2!! I was soo excited that I left work during my lunch break to go buy a test! We were leaving that night to go to Lafayette so we held it a secret from his family until we told his parents. Of course I called my mom and sister right away. There was no hesitation for me to tell them! So in July of 2010 we will be expecting another bundle of joy in our home! Also a week before us David's brother John announced that he was expecting a child in June of 2010. So as of October our baby count is at 2!!
November was pretty quiet except for Thanksgiving. We went to Lafayette to celebrate with David's family. I didnt get any pictures but I got a lot of rest and a lot of food. Chase wasnt there for Thanksgiving so thats why I got a lot of rest. We also found out this month that one of our work friends is expecting a baby... so now the count is up to 3!!
December was about the same as November. Chase left for Dallas the Tuesday before Christmas and David and I left for Dallas Christmas Eve to start our festivities. See David wasnt into how many Christmas's we had to go to. We had 5 to go to in Dallas not including ours still waiting at home! So needless to say when Sunday can around we were ready to go home! Now dont get me wrong I had a balst seeing my family for Christmas. It was kind of sad that Chase wasnt there until Saturday night, but I was sooo happy to get him back home. It is just not the holidays without your whole family together. We got lots of great goodies from everyone. We must have been really good that year! This month is where baby #4 and #5 are annnounced. One from my cousin Vicki and from one of our friends from work!
***So at the end of the year I know of 5 babies being born with in 4 months from each other. Oh and 2 engagements have also happened in 09! So 5 babies and possibly 2 weddings for 2010!! WOooohoooo!***
